Do I need a reservation at Norton's of Green Lake?

We now take reservations for parties of all sizes, from a table for two to large groups. Reserving ahead is the best way to guarantee your table, especially on busy weekend nights, though walk-ins are always welcome as space allows. Groups of 8+ need to submit a reservation request which is approved based on availability. Outdoor seating is limited and weather-dependent. While you’re welcome to request outdoor seating when making your reservation, we will try our best to accommodate. Due to high demand, there may be a short wait for your table, even with a reservation. We appreciate your patience as we work to provide every guest with the best possible experience.

You can reserve a table directly through the “Reserve Now” button on our website for any party size.

All reservations for parties of 8+ and all holiday reservations require a credit card on file to secure the booking. If your plans change, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance. No-shows or late cancellations will incur a charge of $25 per person.

Yes. Large groups can reserve directly, and everyone orders from our regular menu; there’s no separate or custom menu required for big parties. Groups of 8+ need to submit a reservation request, which is approved based on availability.

Parties of 8+ will be seated at adjacent tables whenever possible. While we will do our best to keep your group together, we cannot accommodate one continuous table.

Weeknights (Tuesday–Thursday) tend to be quieter than our weekend hours. Friday and Saturday, especially during dinner and live music on Saturday, are our busiest times, so reserving ahead or arriving early is a good idea.

Norton’s is open Tuesday through Thursday from 4 PM to 10 PM (we seat in the dining room until approximately 8:45 PM), Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to 11 PM, (we seat in the dining room until approximately 9:45 PM) and Sunday from 11 AM to 10 PM (we seat in the dining room until approximately 8:45 PM). We’re closed on Mondays.

Lunch is served Friday through Sunday, 11 AM to 4 PM. Dinner service runs Tuesday through Sunday starting at 4 PM.

No. Our outdoor Dock Bar is open Friday through Sunday, 11 AM to 9 PM. You can order food and drinks from the Dock Bar from our Bar Menu.

In Norton’s, we have a variety of places to sit. Indoor we have our upper and lower bar, lower dining room where you can see the lake from every table, and our upper dining room with a fireplace (also with lake views). We also have a three-season, screened-in porch that has heaters for cooler weather. Outdoors, we have our Dock Bar, serving our Bar Menu, where our live music is located on the weekends, and our patio, where you can order the full lunch or dinner menu.

Yes — Norton’s is the only lakefront restaurant on Green Lake with its own dock, so you can arrive by boat or by car. Dock space is available on a first-come, first-served basis during our open hours.

Yes. We have a three-season porch, outdoor dining on our patio, and our Dock Bar, all with views of Green Lake. Outdoor seating is weather- and season-dependent.

Norton’s serves classic Wisconsin supper club fare, including our signature walleye and prime rib, alongside filet mignon, Friday fish fry, and other steak and seafood entrées. We source from Wisconsin whenever possible.

Yes, we offer gluten-free food options. For additional food allergies, you can note that on your reservation and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Yes, we do offer a Kids’ Menu, which you can view on our Menus page. Kids Eat Free every Wednesday at Norton’s!

Norton’s offers a different special every night: Wednesday is Kids Eat Free, Thursday is half-off bottles of wine, Friday features our classic Wisconsin fish fry, and Saturday brings our Prime Rib Special with live music. Sundays we offer a Prime Rib French Dip served with Steak Fries.

Children 12 and under receive a free meal with the purchase of an adult entrée.

Yes, for groups of 8 or more, we automatically add a 22% gratuity to the bill.  

Yes. Norton’s has been a multi-generational family gathering spot since 1948, and our Wednesday Kids Eat Free special is part of that tradition.

Yes, Norton’s is wheelchair accessible; however, some of our dining areas are only accessible via stairs. Guests can access the lower dining room by coming around the west side of the building and entering through the back door.

Yes. Gift cards can be purchased online, and you can also check an existing gift card’s balance or reload it through the same portal.
